Als es Abend wurde, kamen seine Jünger zu ihm und sagten: „Dies ist ein verlassener Ort, und die Stunde ist schon spät. Schickt die Menge weg, damit sie in die Dörfer gehen und sich Essen kaufen können.“ Aber Jesus sprach zu ihnen , „sie brauchen nicht wegzugehen, du gibst ihnen etwas zu essen.“ und sie sagten zu ihm: „Wir haben hier nur fünf Brote und zwei Fische.“ Er sagte: „Bring sie her zu mir.“ Dann er befahl der Menge, sich auf das Gras zu setzen. Und er nahm die fünf Brote und die zwei Fische, blickte zum Himmel auf, segnete und brach und gab die Brote den Jüngern; und die Jünger gaben der Menge. So aßen sie alle und wurden satt, und sie hoben zwölf Körbe voll von den übriggebliebenen Brocken auf. Nun waren es ungefähr fünftausend Männer, die gegessen hatten, außer Frauen und Kindern.

Tabga
Der Name Tabgha kommt aus dem Griechischen für „Sieben Quellen“, aber Tabgha hieß ursprünglich Heptapegon. Während der byzantinischen Ära gab es in Tabgha drei Wassertürme. Das Wasser aus natürlichen Quellen wurde in den Wassertürmen gesammelt und über Aquädukte zu nahegelegenen Ackerflächen geleitet, um die Felder zu bewässern. Im 4. Jahrhundert identifizierten Christen erstmals Tabgha als den biblischen Ort des Wunders der Vermehrung. Im Jahr 350 n. Chr. Die erste Kirche wurde gebaut, um die biblische Stätte zu markieren. Im 5. Jahrhundert wurde die St. Peter's Primacy Kirche in Tabgha gebaut, wo Jesus Petrus die Führung über die Apostel gab und wo Jesus seinen Jüngern nach seiner Auferstehung erschien. Die Kirche wurde später zerstört und 1934 wieder aufgebaut.

Diese Elemente repräsentieren einen tiefen spirituellen Wert für die Christen weltweit. Das Olivenöl stellen die Krankensalbung in vielen Versen dar (Markus 6:13). Erde von Bethlehem trägt den spirituellen Wert des Heiligen Landes (Markus 4: 8) Wasser des Jordan Wasser trägt spirituelle Werte der Taufe (1. Korinther: 12:13)
