Essence of Jerusalem - Salböl Weihrauch 10 ml , 0.34 fl.oz

Weihrauch : Auch Olibanumis genannt, ein aromatisches Harz, das aus Bäumen der Gattung Boswellia gewonnen wird. Weihrauchbäume gelten auch als ungewöhnlich für ihre Fähigkeit, in Umgebungen zu wachsen, die so unversöhnlich sind, dass sie manchmal direkt aus festem Fels wachsen. Die Bäume beginnen mit der Harzbildung, wenn sie etwa 8 bis 10 Jahre alt sind. Ätherisches Olibanumöl wird durch Wasserdampfdestillation des trockenen Harzes gewonnen.
Weihrauch wurde verschwenderisch in religiösen Riten verwendet. Im Buch Exodus im Alten Testament war es eine Zutat für heiliges Salböl (Ex 30:34); Laut dem Buch Matthäus 2:11 gehörten Gold, Weihrauch und Myrrhe zu den Geschenken der biblischen Weisen „aus dem Osten“ an Jesus.

Dies Salböl wird in Israel – dem Land der Bibel – von lokalen Parfümeuren hergestellt, die natürliches natives Olivenöl aus Galiläa und Jerusalem verwenden und mit Blüten- und Kräuteressenzen parfümiert sind, die in der Bibel erwähnt werden und für das Heilige Land charakteristisch sind.

„Und der Herr sprach zu Moses und sagte: „Nimm dir auch hochwertige Gewürze … und du sollst daraus ein heiliges Salböl machen, eine Salbe, die nach der Kunst des Parfümeurs zusammengesetzt ist“.
